- The early birds did not get the worms on this day. All of the five blanks from the day's selections came from those made in the early start times.
- Our biggest culprit of afternoon treachery was the Philadelphia Phillies. JT Realmuto (Buddy & Scott) and Edmundo Sosa (Al) both were held at bay by Reds rookie Nick Lodolo in a 1-0 shutout loss.
- Joining Buddy in the blank barracks was second place Pavli with Lourdes Gurriel Jr. He completed the second level chase day as the Blue Jays' outfielder came up empty against the Orioles.
- Ed was our last man with nothing to show for the day's efforts. Nelson Cruz did drive in one of Washington's two runs against the Cubs with a fielder's choice, but didn't get a hit before being pinch hit for in the ninth inning.
- Representing the singlers in the selection pool was Nate's pick Amed Rosario. After blanking in a doubleheader during his last time being picked, Rosario needed just one game to pick up an RBI base knock against the Tigers.
- Three men got to two total bases on the evening. Both Texas' Adolis Garcia (Lenny) and New York's Andrew Benintendi (Ryan) got to touch baseball boob while Arizona's Christian Walker got there via a pair of singles.
- But our top scorer of the day was San Francisco's JD Davis. There had been only five two-club men thus far in the 2022 Pick One Challenge before Davis made it three (along with Sosa and Benintendi) on this day. Colin got the best of the trio who had himself a five total base helping of cycle bread. However, it wasn't enough for the Giants to avoid defeat against the Diamondbacks.
- Optimally, Sean Murphy had himself a night against Texas. The A's catcher doubled and homered twice for ten total bases as Oakland put up a touchdown on the flailing Rangers.
