- A tie was broken in the series itself as well as at the top of the leaderboard in the Pick One Challenge.
- Only three participants got on the board, two from the victorious Phillies and one from the defeated Padres.
- Philadelphia's Brandon Marsh wiped out three of the hard-pressed 7 with a two strikeout blank. Ed selected the Phillies center fielder manually while Ryan and Scott earned his services via the Last Man In.
- Nate's roster for the NLCS is very limited which led him to have to take a punt on substitute Edmundo Sosa. He didn't get an at-bat after coming in as a defensive sub for the victors.
- The top half of the table took a huge hit from the hitless day of San Diego's Ha-Seong Kim. Buddy and Lenny saw the Korean get a ground out RBI, but zero base hits.
- Austin Nola has gone from Last Man In fodder to regular selection on days where San Diego is playing. But unlike his previous two postseason selections, Al didn't get anything from the bat-wielding Nola of this series in Game 3.
- An unprecedented Pick One drought came to a close in Game 3 thanks to second step Last Man In Jean Segura. Matt understandably left his fate in the hands of the LMI gods and the fifth Phillies player picked out for 2022 netted him his first single in ten days.
- Our other picked out player of the day, Jurickson Profar, tied for that silver medal. Colin got a single with the San Diego Swiss Army knife leading off the seventh inning with a base knock.
- But taking sole possession of first place and the day's top score was Pavli with Philadelphia's Bryson Stott. He doubled twice in the victory and with the overall optimal scorer Kyle Schwarber already being picked out, earned the best possible score as well.
