- The last day before the All-Star break was fairly lackluster as half of the field did not get on the scoresheet.
- Toronto had to rally late to beat what basically amounted to Kansas City's AAA team. However, none of those clutch hits came off the bat of Bo Bichette, much to the dismay of Lenny and Scott.
- Carlos Santana's Mariners go into the break with a 14 game winning streak. Santana went into the break with a blank for Nate.
- Matt's third pick from the Brewers/Giants series ended with his first blank of it. Andrew McCutchen scored against his former club, but never reached base via a hit.
- Two Braves were selected on the day against the Nationals. Buddy's pick Eddie Rosario fell flat but Ed's selection Michael Harris II got a seventh inning base knock to save him from a similar fate.
- In the other dugout of that one was Ryan's pick Maikel Franco. The Nationals DH singled twice in a rare Washington victory.
- Getting to two total bases by way of a double were Colin and Al with San Francisco's Mike Yastrzemski and Tampa Bay's Josh Lowe respectively.
- That leaves Pavli to take the day's top score with Houston's Jeremy Pena. While many of his "injured" teammates coasted into the break with little fanfare, the Astros rookie had some cycle bread against the A's for five total bases.
- Optimally, Andrew Vaughn was the high man on a light day around the league. Chicago put eleven unanswered runs up on Minnesota with Vaughn knocking in three of them to go with seven total bases as he was a triple shy of the cycle.
