- Nate Lowe did not make a great case for a godfathership after netting Al an 0-for-6 showing with a golden sombrero despite Texas scoring 11 runs against the A's.
- A blank for Cody Bellinger put Ryan back in last place. He halved Lowe's lack of production with an 0-for-3 (with a walk) as the Dodgers completed a sweep of the Giants.
- Both Charlie Blackmon (Colin) and Jared Walsh (Pavli) saw their team score nine runs. Each man got a single in those games, but Walsh's Angels were victorious while Blackmon's Rockies fell to the Brewers.
- Last Man In Tomas Nido and the Mets took care of Joe Musgrove and the Padres on Sunday Night Baseball. Matt got a sixth inning double from his favorite club's backup catcher which drove in the team's fifth run of the night.
- Miami needed extras to dispose of the Pirates despite having ace Sandy Alcantara on the bump. Joey Wendle had two singles and scored a run for Buddy. JJ Bleday made his first MLB start and Pick One debut with three total bases (one single, one double) for Lenny.
- Cleveland usually only gets Pick One love when they have a doubleheader, but maybe after Ed got three singles from Josh Naylor that sentiment will change.
- Our top two scorers both picked players with four hits on the day. Scott had Vladimir Guerrero Jr. who had three singles and a double as the Blue Jays once again picked apart the further charred remains of the Boston Red Sox.
- Nate got three singles as well from Texas' Adolis Garcia. But he earned the day's top score because his extra base hit was a first inning moon shot off of A's All-Star Paul Blackburn to set the tone on his way to a seven total base performance.
- Optimally, three players had the best total of eight total bases in their respective contests. St. Louis' Paul Goldschmidt and Chicago's Yan Gomes got there with a pair of home runs. Colorado's Kris Bryant substituted one of those home runs with a pair of doubles to get to the same total himself.
