- We nearly had our second all hits day, yet Pavli's selection Didi Gregorius made three soft outs and struck out once to rain on the parade.
- Kansas City only had three hits against Jared Koenig and the A's. Nate was lucky enough to get one of those three, a single from Hunter Dozier.
- There were significantly more hits (18 between the two teams) in the 10-9 shootout between the Blue Jays and Yankees. However, it was still just one single as well for Ryan's pick Bo Bichette.
- Rounding out the singles sector was Colin with Milwaukee's Willy Adames. After having tried to pick him two times prior only to see him not in the starting lineup, Colin finally got a single from the Brewers shortstop in a win over the Reds.
- Two of Milwaukee's six runs came off the bat of Lenny's pick Hunter Renfroe. The impressive Pick One run for the entirety (for now) of June continued as Renfroe launched a two-run shot off of Reds reliever Joel Kuhnel to put the game to bed.
- After being fairly benign in recent weeks, the Last Man In popped up in a big way netting Joseph and Matt a share of the daily runner-up spot. Houston's Mauricio Dubon had some cycle bread from the nine hole as his side was able to hold off the White Sox.
- Joining that pair at five total bases was Buddy who got some much-needed production from Detroit's Robbie Grossman. Grossman's single and homer matched our game leader's previous seven days of production combined. The field should be wary as this usually leads to a couple days of big scores from our top man.
- But speaking of top man, or in today's case men, Luke Voit earned the day's top score by mirroring what he did less than a week ago to earn his first one. Al and Scott got six total bases from the Padres slugger on the back of a double and home run. It was a bright light on an otherwise gloomy Father's Day for the Fathers that saw them lose to Colorado and potentially lose Manny Machado for an extended period.
- Optimally, Pirates rookie Jack Suwinski homered three times, all solo shots, to help power the Pirates past the Giants with 12 total bases. (Editor's Note: Must've missed this box score somehow when my MLB.com feed scrolled over. Sorry about that!)
