- There was an extremely light schedule of just four games on this day. That didn't matter though as for the first time since June 28th, we had our first All Hits day as every participant's selection got at least one base hit.
- In two cases that base hit feels a bit bad though. Both New York's Aaron Judge (Colin) and Atlanta's Michael Harris II (Pavli) were designated as Home Run Heroes for September only to provide returns of singles to their backers.
- Baltimore and Toronto went without selections on the day. Harris was the lone representative from the Braves in their 8-0 win over the Nationals. Buddy kept his advantage at 10 total bases with the lone National selected, Lane Thomas. Washington's leadoff man got a sixth inning single to keep our leader on pace.
- For the second straight day Matt and Nate got multi-hit efforts from the Last Man In. They had their game cut short by rain the day prior but had it lengthened on this one. Boston's Abraham Almonte powered through delays to get his two "forced" selectors a pair of singles.
- After blanking in that aforementioned rain-soaked Sunday Night affair, Boston's Kiké Hernandez bounced back with a pair of singles for Scott against Baltimore, driving in three.
- Miguel Andujar went from the waiver wire to the starting lineup in a matter of 24 hours. The newly claimed Pirate made Lenny wait until the seventh inning for his single as Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati.
- Al had his third deuce on the scoreboard in four days with Kevin Newman. The Pirates second baseman drove in one run and scored one with his two singles.
- But our top scorers of the day got to four total bases in both the simplest and most difficult way you can. Ryan's pick Oneil Cruz had four singles for the Pirates and scored twice. Ed's pick TJ Friedl made solid contact once for the Reds and it left the yard.
- Optimally, one of the two neglected clubs is where you would have found the best possible score. Baltimore's Anthony Santander hit two home runs in Baltimore's 14-8 win over the Red Sox for eight total bases.
