- There wasn't much in the way of shakeups on this day, but several players' strategies seemingly began to unfurl as we head towards the final month of the regular season.
- After his breakout ten total base game against Toronto the day before, Jo Adell crashed back down to Earth. Ryan got nil from the Angels youngster before being defensively replaced.
- Blanking is nearly what the entirety of the Yankees did against Oakland. Lenny's pick Josh Donaldson did not record his side's one hit against Adam Oller and friends. That honor went to the man Lenny picked the day prior, Oswaldo Cabrera.
- Cleveland stayed three games ahead of Minnesota by beating the Mariners yet none of their selected players helped their Pick One backers. Both Oscar Gonzalez (Colin) and Myles Straw (Matt) blanked at a combined 0-for-8.
- The battle for Pennsylvania was won on the field by the Phillies. But in the Pick One, Pittsburgh won 1 total base to 0 as Scott's pick Oneil Cruz got his one base hit and Nate's pick Bryson Stott blanked.
- That wasn't the only pair of opponents taken for the afternoon. Ed got a single from Texas' Marcus Semien in a losing effort against the Tigers. Al however saw Detroit's Riley Greene earn him the daily silver medal with a single and a double in victory.
- Retaining the overall gold by the skin of his teeth was Pavli after a double from Cincinnati's Donovan Solano. He would score immediately after as TJ Friedl would homer to put the Reds up 4-1 on the Nationals.
- But our daily top scorer was the man right behind Pavli in the standings, Buddy via Kiké Hernandez. The last available Red Sox player for Buddy went yard to pad Boston's lead that they would not relinquish against Tampa.
- Optimally, since actual best possible scorer Nolan Arenado was already picked out, the distinction of optimal scorer fell on Milwaukee's Christian Yelich. He singled three times and homered for seven total bases in the Brewers' 7-0 win over the Cubs.
