- It was not very angelic in the outfield for Los Angeles on the evening. The only person who manually selected an Angel, Lenny with Brandon Marsh, blanked. The second step Last Man In Tyler Wade filled in unadmirably for Ryan with a blank after Giancarlo Stanton sat out. Only Andrew Velazquez, who is now 4-for-4 in turning Last Man In assignments into scores, got a single for the duo of Joseph and Matt.
- That single by Velazquez helped keep Matt ahead of Pavli who got the only non-Angel blank of the day from Starling Marte against the Giants.
- Hot on his heels and on the cusp of 100 total PRA is Al. Al's streak of at least 4 total bases ended at 5, but Alec Bohm's pair of singles pushed his Pick One hitting streak to eight days.
- Both players playing in the Sox Derby registered two total bases. Colin's pick JD Martinez did it with a couple of singles while Nate's selection Jose Abreu did it with a double which he'd come around to score the winning run from.
- The Dodgers were surprisingly shut out for the first time since last August by the Nationals. However, Scott was able to find one of their six base hits from Edwin Rios.
- After playing with his food for a couple of days and letting the competition catch up, Buddy went back to his big game hunting with Bryce Harper. The Phillies slugger got four hits equally split between singles and doubles to finish with 6 total bases.
- Optimally, Detroit needed all nine of Harold Castro's total bases (a single & two home runs) to defeat the Twins in extra innings.
