- After pulling out the rug from our feet the day prior, Philadelphia and Washington went through with their doubleheader on this day and produced the top four scorers from it.
- On the other side of the coin, late games were not helpful at all. The Dodgers came back to beat the Rockies but each selection from each team blanked. Colorado's Jose Iglesias went 0-for-4 for Colin to see his batting average dip to .080 for the past week. Last Man In Gavin Lux left an unfathomable ten men on base for Nate in his blank for the victorious Dodgers.
- Usual Last Man In Nick Allen didn't come up a single time with men on the base for the A's seeing how they had just two hits against the Mariners. Unluckily for our current last place man Ryan, neither of those two came from Allen himself.
- Kansas City was able to cool down the Guardians by a 7-1 scoreline. However, there was no offense to be had from Scott's pick Edward Olivares who went 0-for-4 before being pinch hit for in his 2022 Pick One debut.
- Along with the doubleheader-boosted Nationals, the Tigers were recipients of double selections on the day. Riley Greene got a single for Lenny while Matt got a single from Akil Baddoo in his 2022 Pick One debut after Miguel Cabrera was rested.
- Ed had an itchy trigger finger with his October Home Run Hero chip using it the first day on Philadelphia's JT Realmuto. He showed he had some hits in him in Game 1 against Washington with a single and a double. He didn't get the opportunity unfortunately to add a home run in Game 2 as he didn't even see pinch hit duties in the win.
- Washington had three different players selected and the only one that didn't work their way into the tie for top score was Al's pick CJ Abrams. He'll probably gladly settle for a tie for second though with three Game 1 singles from our Challenge's 19th two-club man.
- But it was a rich get richer kinda day in the Pick One as our top two overall scorers tied for the daily top spot. Joey Meneses (Pavli) and Luis Garcia (Buddy) didn't get to total bases with identical stat lines across both games, but their overall totals of two singles, one double, and one home run took home eight total bases for each man.
- Optimally, Toronto's Teoscar Hernandez was able to pip the Nationals duo with nine total bases in the Blue Jays' 10-0 thrashing of the Red Sox. The slugger came a triple shy of the cycle with a single, two doubles, and a home run.
