- We had to wait an extra day for Game 3 only for most of the field to get little to nothing from Philadelphia's 7-0 win over Houston.
- Al and Pavli had a bit of gamesmanship with the extra day but neither of their plots brought anything as both of their Home Run Heroes, Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman respectively, blanked on the night.
- Another Astros player had the provision used on him in his final selection of 2022 to similar results. Scott's pick Kyle Tucker had a Game 3 to forget leaving a team-high three men on base in the shutout defeat.
- The evening's final blank came from the victors in the form of Lenny's pick Bryson Stott. He struck out twice in his three at-bats.
- Everybody else tied for first on the night with one solitary total base. The debuting David Hensley carried the most people to the saddest of promised lands with a single for Buddy, Ed, Nate, and Ryan. Nick Castellanos could not be a Home Run Hero for Matt in his final selection of the season. After "picking" Chas McCormick a couple days prior, Colin actually did get a single from the 'Stros outfielder in Game 3.
- Optimally, only Al and/or Colin could have had Philadelphia's Brandon Marsh and his cycle bread-derived five total bases in victory. Every other Phillies home run hitter had already been picked out.
