- Arizona sunk 30% of our field on the day. The once ultra-reliable Daulton Varsho did Nate in with a second straight blank while both Last Man In assignees, Geraldo Perdomo (Matt) and Carson Kelly (Joseph), fell hitless as well. At least Kelly knocked in the D'Backs lone run in a 11-1 defeat via a sac fly.
- Things went slightly better for Pavli's NL West selection Jurickson Profar. He wasn't able to regain sole possession of second place but Profar's single allowed for him to regain a share of the silver medal spot.
- Our last player outside of the doubleheaderverse for the evening was Ryan's Break Glass special Starling Marte. The Mets were able to hold off the Marlins 3-2 with Marte scoring the second of those three runs after his first of three total bases.
- Seattle lost both games of the day's twin bill and Buddy lost a bit of his lead as Eugenio Suarez did the double blank for the Mariners.
- There was a significant struggle for offense for the M's, yet somehow Lenny managed a pair of singles, one in each game, from the Challenge's most selected player thus far, Ty France. Lenny has still yet to blank in the month of June.
- Al was not granted the same courtesy from Shohei Ohtani. The holder of the AL MVP trophy was out of sorts in both halves of the twin bill going 0-for-9 with three strikeouts.
- But luckily for Los Angeles, as well as Colin and Scott, LA's other superstar did a whole lot of showing up. Mike Trout hit home runs in both games against the Mariners, putting him up to 51 against them for his career, as well as adding a Game 1 single to give the duo an optimal top score of nine total bases for the day.
