- Tropical Storm Elsa forced over half the field let their initial picks go forcing a pivot to less favorable matchups.
- One of those was Philadelphia/Chicago which saw the most picks of the day with three, two coming from the top four participants. While both Phillies scored for their backers, Bryce Harper for Matt and Jean Segura for Pavli, it was a double for Harper instead of a single that put him in a tie for the day's top score.
- Unsurprisingly, that tie came with Al who got a pair of singles from Ryan McMahon in Colorado's basement battle with the Diamondbacks.
- The only other game to see multiple players used was Minnesota/Detroit. Ryan got a point from Jorge Polanco which is more than Greg did from Nelson Cruz, but the latter selection leaves the All-Star just a Matt pick away from being the third player picked out in the MLB Pick One.
