- The highest scoring game of the day came between the Pirates and the Rockies. Granted 13 of the game's 15 runs came from Colorado but those 2 from the Pirates put them over the top. One of those two Pittsburgh runs was knocked in by Buddy's selection Josh VanMeter yet that RBI came from a sac fly and not a hit. Both Kris Bryant (Ed) and Jose Iglesias (Al) were yanked from the blowout but only Bryant could produce (one single, one double) while the slick fielding Iglesias blanked at the plate.
- Those were the only two blanks on the day which is good news for the rest of the field.
- After going with a Brewers player yesterday in the day's final game, Matt went with a Giants player and got his fifth Pick One triple of the season from Lamonte Wade Jr.
- Both Nate and Ryan went with Reds against the Cardinals. Nate chose the man that Ryan had picked the day prior, Jonathan India, while Ryan went with Joey Votto. Both men registered singles in the defeat.
- Former Red Eugenio Suarez is now two selections shy of being picked out after Colin got a double from the Mariners third baseman in their 12th consecutive win.
- Our remaining picks all came from the Atlanta Braves as thirty percent of our participants decided to pick on the woeful Patrick Corbin. Pavli and Lenny each got singles from Dansby Swanson and William Contreras respectively, but it was Scott that benefited the most from Washington's second-worst in the league pitching staff. Adam Duvall came a triple shy of the cycle wrapping things up with a solo shot in the ninth inning.
- Optimally, Baltimore's Ramon Urias may have saw his side end their lengthy winning run, but he hit two home runs, including a two-run eighth inning shot to give them a chance at a late rally, for eight total bases against the Rays.
