- With over a third of the league on the sidelines for the day, the picks got congested a bit between a few teams. Those who left that congestion either fared very well or very poorly.
- It was a toss-up between two Texas Rangers for Colin that proved to be fruitless in whatever direction he went. Brad Miller won out over Adolis Garcia in the end, but neither man produced a single hit in their win over the Tigers.
- The chase was on after Buddy's pick Alex Verdugo stranded five men on base with an 0-for-5 as the Red Sox lost to the Athletics.
- Seattle was held in check by Shohei Ohtani and the Angels. However, all three of the singles that the reigning AL MVP gave up came off the bats of Last Man In Adam Frazier (Joseph) and Eugenio Suarez (Matt).
- Two men were double selected on the day with the first being Cleveland's Josh Naylor. The Canadian first baseman hit one of three Cleveland doubles off of Colorado starter Chad Kuhl to earn Pavli and Scott two total bases.
- The second man picked twice was Philadelphia's Rhys Hoskins. Hoskins had a double of his own as the Phillies won their eighth in ten games to help Al and Lenny keep pace with the rest of the top five in the table. It was Lenny's 17th straight day with a hit in the Challenge.
- JT Realmuto was the second Phillies player taken. Nate got a single from the the Philadelphia catcher making it three straight days that the often-neglected position had at least one selection in the Pick One.
- But taking home the top score as part of a shocking inter-division blowout was Ryan's pick Cedric Mullins. The Orioles All-Star singled thrice and scored twice as Baltimore roughed up Toronto's Kevin Gausman en route to a 10-2 victory in Toronto.
- Mike Trout and Kyle Schwarber each hit a pair of home runs in their clubs' victories for a shared optimal total of eight total bases.
