- Colin was probably giddy seeing the Brewers score continue to rise and rise with each passing inning against the Cubs on the day. However, while he didn't blank completely, Willy Adames was one of the more underwhelming choices that could have been made in Milwaukee's 17-run onslaught with just a solitary single.
- At least Willy Adames got a hit. After putting up a 20 spot on Tampa Bay the night prior, the Red Sox fell back down to Earth hard. Xander Bogaerts, who Trevor had seen smash Drew Rasmussen in their previous encounter, went 0-for-4. It was not an ideal way to pop one's Boston cherry for the season.
- At least the X-Man got an opportunity to get a hit. Ryan's pick, Brian Goodwin, could only muster a pinch-running cameo in the Field of Dreams game which saw 17 runs and 16 hits between Chicago and New York.
- But it wasn't all doom and gloom on the Pick One. Al continued his current hot streak and Matt once again reclaimed third place behind a three-hit day from Pavin Smith. The versatile D'Back commemorated his picking out by becoming the third person to earn top score on that day. Even better, his score of four outperformed the showing of the two previous players to do so (Jesse Winker 6/17, Starling Marte 7/29).
