- We had our most backed player of the season on this day. While he paid dividends a couple of those who went that extra mile still were left wanting.
- Four people didn't go with Phillies players against Washington. Scott unfortunately did the worst of that lot with an 0-for-3 with 3 K's blank from Baltimore's Anthony Santander against the Rays.
- Last Man In Eddy Alvarez didn't fare any better for Joseph with a blank against the Guardians.
- Ryan and Colin didn't finish 1-2 again, but they did finish 2-3 with the help of Alex Bregman (1 home run) and Whit Merrifield (3 singles) respectively.
- Heading now to the Phillies, we start with Pavli's pick Odubel Herrera. It wasn't the best day at the dish for the longtime Phil as he went 0-for-5 leaving seven men on base in Game 1 against the Nationals before being pinch hit for by our eventual top scorer in Game 2 still sans a base hit.
- That top scorer was not Buddy's selection Rhys Hoskins, but our game leader was able to at the very least get one single from the Philadelphia first baseman.
- The leading man was indeed the 4x selected Bryce Harper. He hit three singles in Game 1 before doubling off the bench in Game 2. Much to the dismay of Lenny and Matt the word home run did not appear at all in the previous sentence, but along with Al and Nate they at least have five total bases to fall back on.
- Oddly enough, even though they were swept in the doubleheader, Washington's Josh Bell was the day's optimal scorer with three home runs over the two games for a tally of 12 total bases.
