- A record five players were picked out on the evening, more than doubling the previous mark of two set twice over the course of the season. But before we get to that quartet, let's quickly talk about the the one player who didn't see their final selection.
- It took until October but Colin got his first triple of the Pick One campaign with a three-bagger from Luis Torrens in Seattle's crippling loss to the Angels. Only Greg has yet to have a player hit a triple in 2021.
- With that out of the way, let's get to those no longer in the pick pool. Unfortunately, we have to talk about a pair of blanks as Joey Votto (Matt/Pavli) and the Reds were befuddled by Pittsburgh's Wil Crowe, a pitcher who had allowed 14 runs in his last 16 2/3 innings.
- Potential AL Rookie of the Year Adolis Garcia got Al just a single in Texas' 101st loss of the season to Cleveland.
- Also on the same level was Ryan's pick of Jonathan Schoop whose single was one of seven scattered hits for the Tigers against the White Sox.
- Next up was potential NL MVP Fernando Tatis Jr. He didn't quite replicate his top score performance from the day before, but Trevor will take a three point day with his closest opponents blanking gleefully.
- Finally, a re-pick over five months in the making came to fruition as Greg got top score from Byron Buxton. A single and a pair of doubles wasn't enough to help Minnesota beat Kansas City, but it was enough to earn his second top billing in a month's time.
