- Rain moved the ALDS finale of Cleveland and New York to the same day as the beginning of the NLCS between Philadelphia and San Diego.
- Eight of the ten selections for the day came from the American League while both in the NL were from Philadelphia.
- Both picks made from the departing Guardians were from our top two players. Pavli doubled his lead (to 2) over Buddy as his selection Gabriel Arias singled and Buddy's pick Oscar Gonzalez blanked.
- Three Yankees also blanked thinning the selection pool for the ALCS between New York and Houston. Gleyber Torres (Al) and Harrison Bader (Ed) both walked twice yet blanked in the hits department. Oswaldo Cabrera (Colin) ended his rookie campaign with a zero as well.
- Philadelphia's two aforementioned selections both went hitless as well. Brandon Marsh (Nate) and Alec Bohm (Matt) combined to strike out four of the six times they stepped to the plate as the Phillies won a pitcher's duel with the Padres.
- Josh Donaldson (Scott) and Anthony Rizzo (Ryan) are both one and two picks away respectively from being picked out. Each man singled in Game 5 with Rizzo adding an RBI to his resume. Al is the only person to have both men left at his disposal heading into the ALCS.
- But taking home the top score was our lone picked out player of both ALDS series, Aaron Judge. Judge triggered the Home Run Hero chip for the third time this season, the most of any player, this time for Lenny. Adding a single to the equation put him on a score of nine which was also the optimal haul (even sans HRH).
