- We nearly had our second clean sweep of doubleheader selections as the Mets took on the Phillies.
- Only one man strayed away from the NL East fun: Colin with Chicago's Franmil Reyes. This heresy was met with an extra innings blank for the former Guardians slugger.
- Of the picks made within the confines of the doubleheader, only two came from the division-leading Mets while the remaining seven came from Philadelphia.
- New York split both in the series and with their hitting output in the Pick One. Tyler Naquin blanked for Ed in Game 1 before being pinch hit for by Matt's pick Mark Canha, who would also go hitless in the Mets win. However, Canha did play in Game 2 and get a single albeit in defeat.
- No Phillies player scored less than two total bases over the two games. That low man on the Philadelphia totem pole was Buddy's pick Bryson Stott who doubled in Game 1.
- Three different Phillies finished on three total bases in the split. Alec Bohm (Scott) and Rhys Hoskins (Pavli & Ryan) both singled and doubled across the two games while Nick Castellanos (Al) got his via three singles.
- But our top scorer, and second man completely picked out for 2022, was Kyle Schwarber. Schwarber completed his picking out in the postseason in 2021, but in 2022 he went out on some cycle meat on a five total base day for Lenny and Nate.
- Optimally, Paul Goldschmidt went for six total bases against his former team Arizona with two singles and a home run, knocking in 25% of St. Louis' 16 runs on the evening.
