- Despite eight games having at least one team score seven runs, the field collectively batted under .500 in the Pick One Challenge.
- The Texas Rangers were a team that rewarded neglect rather than attention. Buddy and Colin each made manual selections of Adolis Garcia and Nate Lowe that blanked. On the other hand, Joseph ended up with Last Man In Charlie Culberson (after Tyler O'Neill sat for St. Louis) and got a single.
- Completing the full chase day menu from that game was Andrew Benintendi. The latest man to hit seven selections thus far blanked for our game leader Matt.
- Lenny was the only person that got to see their pick let them down live as he got a blank from the Yankees' Aaron Hicks. At least the Yankees were able to get their league-best 22nd win against the Blue Jays.
- It may have not been the Last Man In, but the results fell in line with those past assignments as Willi Castro blanked for Ryan in Detroit's blanking by the Athletics.
- Eugenio Suarez stopped Nate's hitting streak at four days after the Mariners third baseman faltered at the plate against Bailey Falter and the Phillies.
- Inching ahead of Nate in the standings was Scott, but given the circumstances he has to be lamenting the fact he could have leapfrogged more than just one person. 25 combined runs were put on the board in Brewers/Reds and six baseballs left the yard. Unfortunately, none of those came off the bat of Rowdy Tellez, Scott's Home Run Hero for May.
- Two players did go deep on the night, one of them being Pavli's pick Juan Soto which pushed our current bronze medalist over the 70 total base mark for the year.
- The other was our day's top scorer, Avisail Garcia. Al's selection added a single to his dinger as the Marlins pasted Arizona with an eight-run ninth inning.
- Optimally, after falling a triple shy of his third cycle against the Reds on May 4th, Christian Yelich got it done this time completing his third cycle of his career, all versus Cincinnati.
