- In the land of singles, the man with a double is king.
- Colorado/Arizona matchups have been hotbeds for scoring this season yet on this day it let some folks down that really needed that spark. Arizona's David Peralta and Colorado's Brendan Rodgers (you're probably coming off the graphic next season my dude) both blanked for Pavli and Lenny respectively. Kris Bryant only got one single for Colin in the Rox win.
- Nate had the roughest go of it among our blank recipients as his selection, Cleveland's Franmil Reyes, registered the dubious golden sombrero in the Guardians' loss to division-worst Kansas City.
- The Angels have been in a bit of a freefall lately getting swept by Baltimore. While frustrating for Scott, it shouldn't be the biggest surprise that Taylor Ward fell flat even against an opposing starter who came into the contest sporting an ERA over 7.00.
- Our only double-up selection on the day was Marcell Ozuna. The Braves slugger didn't factor into any of the proceedings in Atlanta's comeback win over the Nationals, but did snag Al and Buddy a single in the 12 inning affair.
- It was two straight days with a single in the Pick One for Jonathan Schoop after the Tigers singled for Ed in a loss to the White Sox.
- Last Man In designations hadn't been very kind to Matt the prior two days so while it wasn't a bountiful output, a single from Jackie Bradley Jr. on Sunday Night Baseball is better than nothing.
- So that leaves Ryan with our day's top score via Milwaukee's Willy Adames. The opening line of the recap didn't leave much to the imagination but Adames' day was actually quite productive despite the loss to the Pirates. He paired his double with a walk and scored both times he made it on base.
- Optimally, Wilmer Flores was the only person to get to double digits on the day with a ten total base haul against the Padres. He had two singles and a home run before hitting his second of the night off of a position player pitching, in this case Matthew Batten, to earn the best possible score.
