- The penultimate day of June left over half of the field hoping for the calendar to quickly flip to July.
- Joseph was once again visited by blank as the Angels' unwillingness to mess with the bottom of their batting order left him without an eligible selection.
- Each league's Western Divisions weren't very kind to those that actually made selections either.
- Both Corey Seager (Pavli) and Kole Calhoun (Buddy/Lenny) blanked in Texas' loss to Kansas City. But at least neither of them struck out which can't be said for Al's pick Alek Thomas who K'ed twice while blanking in Arizona's shutout defeat at the hands of San Diego.
- Rounding out the Association of Agony was Nate with the debuting Bligh Madris. While we'll see some good from a Pirates outfielder in the final blurb, Nate wasn't eligible to take that man so he just had to eat this blank like a man.
- Our other doubly selected player on the day was Washington's Nelson Cruz. The ageless Nationals DH singled twice for the pair of Colin and Scott yet his side could not best those aforementioned Pirates.
- Joining that duo on two total bases was Ryan with Tampa Bay's Wander Franco. After a month on the shelf, the 21 year old Rays sensation doubled in his third game back but that too was not enough to beat an NL Central opponent, in this case Milwaukee.
- But taking home top score and continuing the flip-flopping of second place was Matt via Detroit's Javier Baez. His fourth inning triple was enough for the top score in its own right, but he would add a single two innings later to cap his four total base afternoon.
- Optimally, as alluded to earlier, Bryan Reynolds had himself a whale of a time against Nationals pitching. He homered three times off of three different Washington pitchers, knocking home six of Pittsburgh's eight runs, and finishing with 12 total bases.
