- First and foremost we have a lineup change as for the first time since the "Rachel picks" era of the early NBA Pick One Challenge days there has been a bowing out of the competition. Joseph has trusted to Ed to get out of the financial relegation zone over the next four months. I never want this game to be a burden on anyone's life and if it does become a hindrance in any way please let me know. Nevertheless, Ed started off "his" account with a single from Ramon Laureano against the Mariners which was also Al's selection for the afternoon.
- After feeling betrayed by his selection of the wrong Dodgers Turner a day prior, Pavli put his faith in the Tigers Castro gods against the Royals. Fortunately, he didn't have to worry as both Willi and his selection Harold both scored the same with a single in defeat.
- A single was also the tally for Last Man In Yairo Munoz. The Phillies nine hole hitter earned Matt that singular total base in Philadelphia's Sunday Night Baseball win over the Cardinals.
- While it wasn't the biggest gaining of ground, both of those base hits inched that duo closer as Buddy blanked on the day with San Diego's Manny Machado, the only player who didn't get a hit off of Dodgers closer Craig Kimbrel during his ninth inning implosion.
- Willy Adames made it three straight days for Nate with a solitary single of production as the Brewers shut out the Pirates.
- Teammates make up the remaining for selections from our participants. The Marlins had Jesus Aguilar (Scott) blank while Joey Wendle (Lenny) singled in an extra inning win over the Nationals.
- Toronto was not so lucky against Tampa Bay but also had a blank and a score from their ranks. Teoscar Hernandez walked twice for Ryan in five plate appearances but never got on base through a hit. Colin's selection Lourdes Gurriel on the other hand produced the day's lone extra base hit as he got both a single and a double for the top score. After losing an eight day streak with Hunter Dozier, Colin has quickly built up another eight day run which has moved him up three places in the standings.
- Optimally, Houston only scored four runs against the Angels but Jeremy Pena was responsible for three of them. He had two singles on the afternoon nestled between a pair of home runs including the walk-off shot off Ryan Tepera to seal the ten total base effort.
