- We came one batter short of a complete hit deck for the second straight day. This time Scott drew the short straw as Jonathan Schoop blanked in Detroit's 10-1 loss to Toronto.
- After losing his ten day hitting streak, Pavli began the road to his next one from the right side of the above scoreline. Somehow Teoscar Hernandez ducked all the runs though as he was the only Blue Jays starter with at least one hit that didn't either score or drive in a run.
- Al went with Juan Lagares in the vaunted Lagares Derby pitting the Angels against the Mets. Lagares singled but would strike out three times as his new club was defeated by his old one, 7-3.
- Both steps of the Last Man In provision had to be used as San Francisco took on rivals Los Angeles. Recent LMI favorite Curt Casali netted Lenny and Matt a single each while Thairo Estrada provided the same for Nate who had been assigned Casali three days prior.
- The manual selection of a Giants player proved slightly better as Buddy's pick Evan Longoria would double home a run off Walker Buehler in victory.
- Minnesota leadoff man Luis Arraez bumped his average up to a league-best .360 with a pair of singles for Joseph in a win over Tampa Bay.
- Continuing to run through a star-studded Break Glass List was Ryan who made it seven straight days with a hit with St. Louis All-Star Nolan Arenado. The manner of the Cardinals' hot corner singled twice in a shutout win over the Reds.
- But our day's top scorer kept himself just that little extra bit away from the financial relegation zone. Colin may not have triggered his Home Run Hero chip for June with Bryce Harper, but the Phillies slugger's three singles against the Diamondbacks were enough for top score. In the process, Harper became the fourth man to earn top score three times on the year.
- Optimally, Harper's teammate Rhys Hoskins, along with San Francisco's Darin Ruf and Los Angeles' Brandon Marsh, hit two home runs and a single for the best possible output of nine total bases.
