- After two playoff bound players were selected the day prior, only one was taken today. That player was San Francisco's Austin Slater who netted Colin three points with a trifecta of singles in the Giants' comeback win against Arizona.
- Past Slater, it wasn't the finest of selection pools until you got to top score. Singles and blanks for Mets, Indians, and Padres, oh my.
- However, that last team did produce top score with the lone bit of true star power in the day's Pick One proceedings. Matt's selection of Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a home run off of Tony Gonsolin which at the time put the Padres within a run of spoiling things for the defending champions. Luckily for the boys in blue, San Diego's bullpen took that hope and set it on fire in an eventual runaway Dodgers win.
