- We nearly had our second all hits day of the year. Only Pavli's pick Christian Walker, who oddly enough was a Home Run Hero not two days prior, blanked in Arizona's win over the Reds.
- The triumvirate of Joseph, Lenny, and Matt all got to get knee-high in the Pacific Ocean with the Angels' Tyler Wade. Los Angeles' third different LMI for the season rapped a single in his side's win over Boston.
- One of Boston's two runs in that game was scored by Colin's pick Christian Arroyo. He came around to score after his eighth inning single.
- Nine home runs were hit between the Twins and the Yankees at Target Field. However, while none of those were launched off the bat of Nate's pick Gleyber Torres, he still picked up two singles in the win.
- Joey Votto got his batting average over .200 with a single and double for Scott, knocking in half of Cincinnati's runs in defeat.
- That left a three-way tie for first place, our fourth joint-daily gold medalists since the beginning of June. Buddy's pick Cedric Mullins made his first trip to the winner's circle with a pair of doubles. Al's pick Kyle Schwarber and Ryan's selection Jose Ramirez both earned their second top scores of the season with a home run apiece.
- Optimally, we hearken back to the nine home run deluge in the Twin Cities. Both Joey Gallo and Byron Buxton went deep twice to tie for the best possible score of eight total bases.
