- There was a calming consistency across the Challenge with nine of our ten participants scoring.
- Unfortunately, Al was the owner of the one blank as header graphic resident Brendan Rodgers went hitless for Colorado against Cincinnati.
- It should be noted that no Rockies player got more than one hit in that one though including Lenny's selection Jose Iglesias. The Colorado shortstop singled to keep himself as the only starter batting over .300 for the club.
- Four of Boston's thirteen hits against Texas were represented with Pick One selections. A single each was contributed by Trevor Story (Colin) and Christian Arroyo (Buddy).
- Two of them were brought to the table by Scott's pick Xander Bogaerts who singled and doubled in the 9-1 win.
- Former Sox player Hunter Renfroe helped Challenge leader Pavli snap a two-day slide with a single in Milwaukee's loss to the Diamondbacks.
- The late game had two selections as the Giants blew out the Phillies. Matt's pick Brandon Crawford drove in a run with his single as part of a four-run first inning. Nate's selection LaMonte Wade Jr. raked two singles in the victory.
- Ryan's run of Clevelanders finally rocked as Richie Palacios doubled and scored his team's only run in a loss to the Mariners.
- But our top scorer for the day was one of surely many September call-ups to make their way into the Pick One recaps. Baltimore's Gunnar Henderson doubled twice to earn Ed four total bases as the O's beat the A's.
- Optimally, it was a pair of catchers homering twice for eight total bases that were the best of the bunch. Seattle's Cal Raleigh and Atlanta's Travis d'Arnaud each did the deed in their clubs' respective triumphs.
