- It was a good day to get your work done early in the Pick One Challenge.
- There was a five-way, four player tie at the top of the daily leaderboard with all of the participants involved getting the majority of their legwork done with day baseball.
- Leading off was Pavli who was the only person in the top score conclave to get their non-home run points from a double as the Giants absolutely battered the Cubs.
- The rest of the damage came from the Toronto Triplets of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Matt), Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (Ryan), and George Springer Not Jr. (Colin/Trevor).
- Guerrero's track to six points differed from the other two by homering in Game 1 of the doubleheader against the Orioles and singling twice in Game 2. Both Gurriel Jr. and Springer both homered and singled in the first half and just singled in the second.
- With all of these big scores being earned, Trevor became the first competitor this season to surpass 300 total points.
