- Two Cardinals were picked on the day. While both Paul Goldschmidt (Colin) and Nolan Arenado (Matt) blanked, a former Cardinal now National Lane Thomas, who was acquired for Jon Lester at the deadline, scored a point for Pavli.
- The other participant to get a single point was Al. He made Charlie Blackmon the ninth player completely picked out for the season. It was the first pick out in nearly a month and the second straight player from the NL West (Pavin Smith 8/12).
- Trevor got his second top score in two days and once again it was a Detroit Tiger getting it done. Now Eric Haase didn't add three singles to his home run like Robbie Grossman did, but the solo shot off of Michael Wacha was enough for four crucial points in the title race.
