- There was an unintentional piece of social commentary in the Pick One today as the poor got poorer. All three of our blanks came from the bottom three on the leaderboard. Philadelphia's Alec Bohm, Atlanta's Travis d'Arnaud, and Cleveland's Amed Rosario have some apologies to write for Nate, Ed, and Ryan respectively.
- The only one of those three to have a teammate taken as well was d'Arnaud. Michael Harris II didn't get much for Scott, a lonely single, but one is better than none in this game every time.
- Thairo Estrada earned Buddy a single in San Francisco's loss to the Padres. His eighth inning single put his club on the comeback trail only for them to ultimately fall short with their ninth inning rally.
- Combining his hits from the previous two days, Colin put some distance between himself and the bottom three through Boston's Xander Bogaerts. He singled and doubled in the Red Sox loss to the Twins.
- Three total bases wasn't in the pattern plan for Al on this day. His past four days have gone 3-1-3-1 with St. Louis' Brendan Donovan being the latest 1 against the Reds.
- Keeping with that rough theme of 3-1, three participants picked from the same team they did the day prior. Two of them even got the same score. Last Man In Carson Kelly netted Matt the same two total bases as Corbin Carroll did as an Arizona rep. Cincinnati's TJ Friedl matched Jonathan India's one total base for Pavli.
- But the only man to pick from the same club and better their score was Lenny via Minnesota's Nick Gordon. Gordon would double and homer in Minnesota's doubling up of Boston for the day's best of six total bases.
- Optimally, Kansas City's Nick Pratto went off in his team's win over the White Sox. He fell a triple shy of the cycle and homered twice for a grand total of 11 total bases.
