- There were five games in play on an abbreviated schedule. Three of the five saw usage while Houston/Seattle and Boston/Los Angeles were left surplus to requirements.
- It was back-to-back D-Back duds for Scott as David Peralta left Arizona's rain-soaked loss to the Reds with back spasms after one hitless at-bat.
- Every Mets starter got a hit in their 11-5 drubbing of the Padres including Pavli's selection Francisco Lindor who led off the third inning with a single.
- The rest of the field was haves and have-nots from the Padres and the Blue Jays.
- San Diego's have-nots were worse off than Toronto's as the pair of Jake Cronenworth (Al) and Last Man In Trent Grisham (Joseph/Matt) went 0-for-6 with 6 strikeouts.
- He may not have had the prolific day at the plate of his Pick One counterparts on the afternoon, but at least Teoscar Hernandez got Nate a single in his 2022 Pick One bow.
- The trio of Bo Bichette (Colin), Santiago Espinal (Lenny), and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Ryan) all homered in Toronto's shutout of the Royals. Along with one of San Diego's lone bright spots, Buddy's pick Jurickson Profar (2 singles, 1 double), there was a four-way tie at four total bases.
- As stated before, the Mets went hard on the Padres but the man who went hardest was Eduardo Escobar who hit for the cycle to nearly reach New York's final tally (11) with his total bases (10).
