- Only two teams were represented among the ten selections on the day: one of the teams in the doubleheader, Minnesota, and one of the teams in the day's final contest, Seattle. Each club had a representative tie for top score.
- It should also be noted that this was our third "all hits" day of the season and the second in the month of June.
- For the Minnesota collective, Pavli was the man on an island with the versatile Nick Gordon. The former top five pick singled in each game of the Twins' split with the Guardians.
- Last Man In Abraham Toro was the salutatorian of selections with three players (Colin, Matt, & Nate) needing the services of the Mariners' nine-hole hitter. He got a single but it could have been a double had he not been thrown out at second base by Baltimore's Austin Hays.
- Second base is where Ryan's pick Jesse Winker got to when he drove in the game's lone runs in the eighth inning double. Last year's second quickest picked out player made his 2022 Pick One debut in this one.
- But our top scorers of the day, all five of them, each had four total bases. Carlos Correa was our most popular player of the day garnering four selections from our participants (Al, Buddy, Lenny, & Scott). He homered in Game 1 for the entirety of his production as all of his times on base in Game 2 came via a trio of walks. Buddy became the first person to break the 200 total base threshold this season. Joseph had to navigate his very muddled Mariners scoresheet for Julio Rodriguez who registered three hits (2 singles & 1 double) in what could be his final game before the Angels/Mariners suspensions go into effect.
- Optimally, Shohei Ohtani and Matt Olson each had eight total bases on the day. Ohtani drove in two of Los Angeles' four runs against the White Sox with a pair of doubles and his 17th home run of the season. Olson upped his homer total to 12 with a pair in an Atlanta win against Zach Wheeler and the Phillies.
