- There was one doubleheader on the day and while it had a couple of big scorers in its ranks, none of them made their way onto the Pick One scoresheet.
- Either side of the Pittsburgh/St. Louis twin bill had one player selected twice. The prior day's top scorer, Pittsburgh's Michael Chavis blanked for the duo of Buddy and Nate. St. Louis' Nolan Arenado did the same for Pavli and Scott. However, both those zeroes weren't Robert Parish double zeroes as neither player played in the night half of the Cardinals' sweep.
- It was neck and neck between the Dodgers and the Mariners to see who would have the honor of providing the day's Last Man In. Luckily for Lenny, and unluckily for Joseph, the M's won out and Sam Haggerty, double and all, was the assignment.
- Brandon Drury's Reds went to twelve innings with the Diamondbacks, the first nine of them scoreless. That second part didn't bode well for Al as he had to settle for a second straight zero in the hit column.
- Two Red Sox players were taken on the night against Oakland. Matt got a single from Christian Vazquez who I can only assume is probably on page six or seven of Ryan's Break Glass List which netted him the homering Rafael Devers.
- But the night's top score went to Colin with San Diego's Luke Voit. Voit drove in five of Slam Diego's 12 runs against the reeling Cubs with a double and a home run for six total bases.
- Optimally, the biggest of those aforementioned doubleheader scorers was Paul Goldschmidt. The Cardinals first basemen spread out six hits between the two games, three singles and three home runs, for a total of 15 total bases as his Cardinals took two.
