- Sundays are usually the Get Out Of Jail Free card for the Last Man In crowd. That being said it was kind of harsh that the Angels, one of the most pulverized LMI squads, hosted the game on this particular Sunday.
- Matt and Joseph drew blanks having been assigned both Angels LMI options in the past while Colin got a blank of his own from Andrew Velazquez.
- It wasn't all doom and gloom for the Halos in the Pick One though. Pavli's pick Brandon Marsh had two hits, a single and a double, and scored LA's lone run in defeat.
- San Diego provided Lenny some more consistency as Nomar Mazara's Pick One debut netted him a single in a Padres loss to the Rockies.
- The tie between Lenny and Nate was broken though with Manny Margot besting Mazara's single with a double against Minnesota.
- There is no Pick One love for the nation of Curacao from Scott as his second selection from the small island in three days provided no results. Two days prior it was Jonathan Schoop, on this night it was Ozzie Albies.
- Three men broke glass on the night. Ryan did the worst of the bunch as Marcus Semien went 0-for-6 in Texas' extra innings win over the White Sox.
- Coming from the other side of that game was the second shatterer, Buddy's pick Jose Abreu. It wasn't quite the boon that Christian Walker was, but anything helps when you are trying to keep yourself as the top banana.
- That leaves Al with our daily top score via Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Vlad Jr.'s second top score in less than a week came on the back of some cycle bread, with some Home Run Hero butter spread on top, en route to a win for the Blue Jays against the Tigers. (Editor's Note: These Home Run Hero designations are fucking killing me. Sorry fellas!)
- Optimally, the Yankees had a plethora of fantastic off-the-radar options in their 18 run obliteration of the Cubs. None were better than Matt Carpenter though as he drove in seven with ten total bases (one double, two home runs).
