- Our Central Division doubleheader on this day did not produce the splendor of the day prior, but it at least allowed the chains to move for most of our competitors.
- Minnesota/Detroit was the choice of 80% of our players with the only two detractors being those using the Last Man In. Regrettably for Joseph and Ryan, that was Los Angeles' Kevin Pillar. The journeyman outfielder added his name to the Dodgers LMI collection, but could not add his first hit in Dodger blue to either man's scoresheet.
- The same can be said for Matt and Nate's pick Gio Urshela. The Twins' hot corner resident fell one strikeout shy of a Golden Sombrero in Minnesota's Game 1 win over the Tigers and didn't get a chance at redemption in Game 2.
- A single isn't anything to hold a parade over, but when you need to bust a slump, like Lenny did with Miguel Cabrera, even the slowest of rollers that get you over the hump are welcome.
- Pavli moved into a tie with Matt for second after his single from Jorge Polanco. That made it 3-for-3 on the season in turning Twins picks into positive scores.
- Speaking of those three picks, his previous two selections, Luis Arraez and Byron Buxton, both netted a pair of total bases for Al and the combo of Buddy and Colin respectively.
- But our top scorer of the day for the second straight day was a man who mirrored their production in both games while making their Pick One season debut. Scott's pick Trevor Larnach hit a double in each half of the twin bill to earn four total bases and the daily crown.
- Optimally, two men would have earned you a score of nine total bases. Toronto's Alejandro Kirk had a pair of home runs and a single for his tally. Atlanta's Matt Olson substituted two doubles for one of those home runs to run parallel.
