- It was a light schedule for the Challenge, yet every game outside of the ones featuring New York teams saw usage.
- That lightness also translated to the play of our selections as there were no extra bases to be had across the board.
- No matter how you spelled it, being a person named Christian (or Cristian) didn't go well. Christian Walker (Al) and Cristian Pache (Matt) both blanked and find themselves below the Mendoza Line for the year.
- Harrison Bader's Pick One debut for the year went just as poorly for Nate. The Cardinals leadoff man didn't get the ball out of the infield in four at-bats and even hit into a double play.
- The final blank for the day was Colin via Minnesota's Max Kepler. The German outfielder couldn't produce one of the Twins' seven hits in a win over Baltimore.
- However, Kepler's teammate Luis Arraez was able to do so netting Pavli a single to keep him in a tie for second place overall on the season.
- That tie is with Joseph who kept pace with Seattle's JP Crawford. Lenny also selected the Seattle shortstop whose fifth inning single was wiped out by a double play. Joseph's hitting streak has now hit 10 days.
- Andrew Benintendi (Buddy) and Tim Anderson (Ryan) each made their fourth Pick One appearances of the season and also singled for the Royals and White Sox respectively.
- But the top score went to the top-used player thus far in the Pick One, Seattle's Ty France. In his seventh selection of the campaign, France singled twice against the Astros to break Scott's brief hitless streak. Only Lenny, Pavli, and Ryan have the Mariners first baseman left at their disposal.
- Optimally, David Peralta took MLB ERA leader Pablo Lopez deep in the first inning of Arizona's win over the Marlins. He would add a pair of singles later on to finish with six total bases.
