- It wasn't quite the all-inclusive total base festival of the day prior, but over half of the field still got on the scoresheet for the day.
- The most notable blank was our current game leader Buddy via Cincinnati's Tyler Naquin. The Reds outfielder ran into a rebounding Hyun-jin Ryu who threw six shutout innings.
- Boston continued to pound Seattle pitching but unfortunately for Joseph none of their eight hits on the evening came from Alex Verdugo.
- Ian Happ had a sacrifice fly in Chicago's loss to the Diamondbacks, but could not help out Lenny by pairing that RBI with any actual hits.
- Two men let the Last Man In lead the way on the evening. Ryan, who has exhausted nearly all of his San Francisco LMI options, found himself with his second blank of the campaign. Matt was assigned the services of Luis Gonzalez who would hit a seventh inning double for his daily effort.
- Believe it or not, Colin possesses the longest active streak in the Challenge at four days after Jean Segura singled in Philadelphia's loss to the Dodgers.
- Another streak continued with Pavli's selection Daulton Varsho. The versatile Diamondback has never blanked in either season of the Pick One Challenge pushing his run to six straight after singling against the Cubs.
- One straight selection with a hit is currently where Nolan Gorman sits after Nate got a single from St. Louis' top prospect in his Major League debut.
- Our top two scorers of the day both came from Atlanta. Ronald Acuna Jr. may still be finding his way back to 100%, but in the meantime he got Scott three total bases with a single and a double in a win over the Marlins.
- But the top scorer, and only selection on the day with a home run, was Al's pick Dansby Swanson. The former #1 overall pick hit one of three long balls off of last year's NL Rookie of the Year runner-up Trevor Rogers.
- Optimally, Arizona's Josh Rojas made it two days in a row with a 3 home run player after hitting two off Kyle Hendricks and one off of Mychal Givens. Teammate David Peralta tied for second place optimization (with Darin Ruf) with a pair of dingers off Hendricks himself.
