- For the first time in this young season, there were no rainouts which meant there were no needs to pivot on behalf of Mother Nature.
- Nate probably feels like a cloud is over him through three games thus far though. He is still yet to put a deposit in his Pick One account after Bobby Witt Jr. blanked in Kansas City's 10 inning win over the Guardians.
- Also blanking on the afternoon was Ryan with new Dodger Freddie Freeman. He was one of three Dodgers to blank in their loss to Colorado.
- One of those that didn't blank was Joseph's selection Mookie Betts. He drove in the tying run in the eighth with a single which would ultimately be rendered useless in the bottom half of the inning by a Rockies homer.
- Staying that one total ahead of Joseph in the overall standings was Lenny with a single from Ji-Man Choi in Tampa's win over Baltimore.
- Pavli nearly made it two straight days with the Pick One having a Last Man In but instead opted to try his luck with the pinch hitter for the Angels' Tyler Wade which just so happened to be the Last Man In from the night before, Davi Fletcher. This long-winded tale had a sad end though as like the day before, Fletcher failed to get a hit.
- The man who used that provision the day prior, Matt, got his hit back via Pittsburgh's Dan Vogelbach yet that one base knock did little to help the cause against St. Louis.
- Keeping it in the NL Central, Buddy got a single from Joey Votto but his Reds suffered a loss as well to Atlanta.
- Rounding out the NL Central players with singles brigade was Jason Heyward. He made sure that Colin's journey finally had a decent chapter as he singled before being pinch hit for in the eighth inning.
- Another Cub that was substituted in their 9-0 win over the Brewers was one half of the day's joint top scorers, Ian Happ. He singled twice before being pinch ran for in the seventh inning. His pair of total bases matched the total of Scott's pick Austin Meadows who got a pair of his own in Detroit's loss to Chicago. It was the second straight Tiger with two singles Scott has selected. Will there be a third?
- Optimally, Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado had a four hit day against Pittsburgh with three of those being doubles for a grand total of seven total bases.
