- We had our first blank of April last night as Ryan was ineligible for either of the Last Man In options from the San Francisco Giants. He was one of three blanks in the Challenge for the day.
- To say the Reds are in rough shape right now is an understatement. Their funk has even trickled over into the Pick One Challenge where they are tied for last with the fewest unique player selections with 2. Kyle Farmer is one of those two and much to Colin's dismay he was one of the three aforementioned blanks.
- Rounding out the hitless posse was Lenny's pick Nate Lowe who deserves this blank because he is going by Nathaniel now which made me think he was erased from Baseball Reference, making me feel stupid. It's in the doc as Nate and it is staying that way.
- The same goes for Al's pick Dan Vogelbach who had a pair of singles against the Padres. I will rage against the -IEL machine needlessly and scream at as many clouds as I damn well please.
- After a couple of Serenity Now sessions, let's talk about those who just had the one single on their box score. Scott's pick Manny Machado was the only victor of the three as his Padres beat the Pirates.
- Ty France joined Josh Bell as the most picked player thus far with 6 selections, but his single for Buddy couldn't help the M's past the Marlins.
- Oakland spread their ten hits against the Guardians among eight players with Nate's pick Chad Pinder being one of them.
- Both Colorado selections took home two total bases with CJ Cron (Joseph) doing so the hard way with a pair of singles while Charlie Blackmon (Pavli) coasted in with a double.
- That leaves Matt to regain the top spot in the table via Last Man In Joey Bart. Had his original selection of Bryan De La Cruz played it would have broken that tie with Cincinnati for the least love given to a team. Instead, Bart earned his second Last Man In assignment of the season and produced this time with a pair of singles and a home run in a loss to the Nationals.
- Optimally, Milwaukee's Hunter Renfroe or Atlanta's William Contreras would have netted you eight total bases as each man homered twice in their clubs' respective wins.
