- Rain wiped out a few of Monday's options but it was still a rather productive day otherwise.
- There were only two blanks on the day which is the second fewest we've had in the young season. Al earned one of those with Last Man In Gavin Lux after his original pick Eric Hosmer sat against the Reds. Joseph found himself with the other after Andrew McCutchen failed to get a base knock versus the Pirates.
- Those Pirates had our first pair of identical selections on the afternoon. Both Lenny and Nate selected Pittsburgh leadoff hitter Ke'Bryan Hayes and got a double for their trouble.
- Where Al missed with the Last Man In, Matt hit on the second step. After being assigned Lux earlier in the week, Matt found his selection target on the second level of the provision with Edwin Rios. While a single helps keep him in second place, it also puts him in a precarious position with the Dodgers playing a large majority of their games in the final timeslot of any given day.
- Our two multi-day hitless streaks both fell. Pavli got a single from Colorado's Connor Joe to break his four day drought and Ryan got a single from the Angels' Shohei Ohtani to break his three day spell.
- That leaves a three-way tie for first place on the day between our second selection duo, Buddy and Scott with Colorado's CJ Cron, and Colin with Boston's Alex Verdugo. Both men hit a single and a double in their respective games but while Cron's Rockies were victorious over Philadelphia, Verdugo's Red Sox fell in the early Patriot's Day matchup to the Twins.
- Optimally, Houston DH Yordan Alvarez bounced back from a brief injury layoff to have three hits against the Angels including a pair of home runs for a tally of nine total bases.
