- There was only one blank on the day, yet unfortunately it came from our last placed player Ryan via Houston's Kyle Tucker. The one-time optimal scorer went 0-for-5 as the Astros were upset by the Diamondbacks in extras.
- Scott broke a three day slide with a single from Chicago's Seiya Suzuki. The rookie signing from the Hiroshima Carp has hit safely in every game of his MLB career so far.
- We had a second straight day with a Last Man In. Colin had to utilize it after Brandon Belt sat for the Giants, forcing his hand towards the White Sox's Jake Burger. Luckily, Burger singled twice in his club's win over Seattle.
- It was singles for everybody in the Milwaukee/Baltimore matchup. Mike Brosseau (Al) got the base knock for the Brew Crew while Anthony Santander (Lenny) and Cedric Mullins (Joseph) got them for the O's.
- Tampa Bay continues to be the highest usage squad in the Pick One thus far including three selections on this day. Buddy handed Brandon Lowe his second selection of the season and got a single for the effort.
- But that is only half way to the usage for our joint top scorer of the day, Ji-Man Choi. It was a cavalcade of ties in the top score department as two men, Matt and Pavli, chose Choi and the Korean bopper tied with Nate's pick Ty France for the daily top score. Each of the two players hit a home run in defeat to the A's and White Sox respectively.
- Optimally, it would have been one hell of a day to use the Home Run Hero on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Even without the new gimmick, Vladdy Jr. went deep against the Yankees thrice and added a double for good measure en route to what would have been a Pick One record of 14 total bases.
