- The American League has now made it 8 wins in a row in the Midsummer Classic with a 5-2 victory over the National League at Coors Field. The pick split between the two leagues though was 4-3 to the NL.
- Only two participants opted for non-starters for the All-Star Game and sad to say neither Trea Turner (Colin) or Whit Merrifield (Ryan) was able to get a base hit.
- However, Turner was part of a tiny bit of Pick One history as he along with Matt and Trevor's pick, Adam Frazier, became the first duo to be completely picked out on the same day.
- Finally, top score honors ended up similarly to the 2002 All-Star Game. Greg's pick of Xander Bogaerts' two singles along with Al's pick of Teoscar Hernandez's double made for a tie at two points.
- The top score for Hernandez tied him with fellow All-Stars Turner, Nick Castellanos, and Bo Bichette for most top scores to date with 3.
- Regular games will return Wednesday with JUST ONE between the Yankees and the Red Sox.
