- Our leader, Al, broke a personal three day slump by taking the only Cubs player on the day to get a point in the Pick One. While Rafael Ortega (Ryan) and Frank Schwindel (Trevor) blanked against the Royals, David Bote got a single in the loss.
- That Schwindel blank made Trevor fall behind Pavli and Matt who each got a point against one another with Dansby Swanson and Ryan Mountcastle respectively.
- A similar three-in-a-row no-go was broken by Colin on the other side of Chicago. Yoan Moncada went deep as the ChiSox won in extra innings against Tampa Bay as they jockey for the overall top seed in the American League.
- But the top score of the day once again went to a Colorado Rockies player, this time being CJ Cron. Greg got five points from the Greg Bird roadblock to the Bigs with a pair of doubles and a single in their blowout of Arizona.
