- It wasn't a significant improvement from yesterday's hitless Pick One debacle, but at least we got some production from the pair of ALDS contests that took place.
- Both catchers were taken in the game between Houston and Chicago and sadly neither Yasmani Grandal (Al) nor the Pick One debuting Martin Maldonado (Colin) had any of the two clubs' combined 17 hits.
- Matt and Pavli played a game of chicken with one another in the second and third positions in the table, both going with Tampa Bay's Jordan Luplow. Neither man gained any ground though as the first baseman blanked before being defensively substituted in the sixth inning.
- Joint top score came from the two Red Sox taken on the evening.
- If you look at the list of players who have earned top score at least three times, Christian Arroyo's would feel the most out of place. But he's sure as shit there I assure you after two hits in Boston's defeat.
- He's joined at the summit by Kyle Schwarber who with his two singles became the second player (Starling Marte) to earn top score with two different clubs.
