- Seven of the weekend's ten matches were played on Saturday giving participants many options to work with. Instead, just three of the four matches and four clubs total saw usage.
- The early game saw the first of three defenders taken, easily a record through the current matchweek. Trevor's pick Virgil van Dijk didn't do much, and tallied the lowest score among all Liverpool starters in their 5-0 embarrassment of Watford, but still managed top score in the Pick One for the day with a 7.1.
- Ryan got Pep'd with another bit of rotational madness as Ruben Dias started Manchester City's match with Burnley on the bench. He would eventually make his way onto the pitch in the 72nd minute but other than the clean sheet tiebreaker point, there isn't much else to say about the Portugal international's 6.7.
- As per the usual, it came down to the late match to round up the scragglers. Paired up top with Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner (Andrew/Scott) was invisible for the most part failing to register a single shot on target or complete a single pass through the air on his way to a 6.6. Continuing the right side woes of the league leaders was Cesar Azpilicueta (Matt) who fared 0.1 points better than the German striker because despite only misplacing one pass on the ground, he too was unsuccessful with all his attempts through the air en route to a 6.7.
- On the Brentford side, Greg got LMI points from Iranian midfielder Saman Ghoddos (6.4) as neither Chelsea substitute used after him had a rating at contest's end. (Kai Havertz would be given a rating after further aggregation but LMI is taken from the direct end of the match.)
- In terms of optimal score, if you had put your faith in Roberto Firmino you would have been the first person to take home a perfect 10.0 for the season. The only Brazilian to feature for the Reds after the international break went for a hat trick on three shots against the Hornets and added an assist on Mohamed Salah's second half wonder goal for good measure.
