- With Spurs/Brighton being postponed due to the former's COVID issues, there were only three matches to choose from. Leicester's 4-0 win over Newcastle was the only one that saw no usage from our six players.
- After coming back in dramatic fashion against Arsenal, Everton crashed back down to Earth in the most Everton way against Crystal Palace. The player most representative of that crash was Trevor's pick Richarlison. The Brazilian spent more time gesticulating to officials than getting shots on target, for which he had zero, and made a big stink about being subbed off just before the hour mark after doing next to nothing. A 6.3 almost seems too high. What a way to celebrate being the third player picked out.
- It is a shame that Palace's 3-1 win over the Toffees only had a delegation of Last Men In to show for it. Having already taken a player that will be talked about shortly, Ryan got looped in with Greg on Step 1 with Christian Benteke. He somehow participated in 8 duels in 16 minutes, winning 6 of them to end with a respectable 6.8 for short work. However, since Matt had already taken Benteke he was pivoted to Jeffrey Schlupp. He got possession of the ball 11 times in 17 minutes and lost it 4 times once nearly leading to Everton's potential equalizer. Schlupp finished his shift with a 6.4.
- Burnley never plays the prettiest football but they are adept at grinding out results like the 0-0 they got against West Ham. Andrew's pick Jack Cork didn't do anything statistically that jumped off the page but was solid for 90 minutes in corralling an offense that put three past Chelsea in their last league match. A 6.7 is deserved.
- Taking home top score is Scott with West Ham's Jarrod Bowen. It seems like the best of a bad bunch but Bowen was his usual industrious self up the right flank. His 7.1 is reflective of creating West Ham's two best chances of the match and winning 80% of his aerial duels despite not being central for any lengthy stretch of the contest.
- The optimal pick for this matchday was Conor Gallagher. The Palace midfielder was magnificent against Everton with 2 goals, 94% passing, and 4 key tackles in 90 glorious minutes. He had a 9.6 rating for the match which was the best rating put forth by a Crystal Palace player all season.
