- The final fixture of the Premier League's return to action provided plenty of quality on the pitch. However, that did not translate to a good day for our participants following along with Manchester City and Leeds United.
- It is very difficult to be anonymous with Pep Guardiola's passing football. But somehow Scott's pick Ilkay Gundogan was able to pull it off with just a 6.3 despite his side scoring three goals.
- Leeds' one goal dropped the hammer on an already dreary day for Pavli and Trevor's pick Ederson. The City keeper let in the only shot he faced from Leeds with his decent passing stats keeping him mildly afloat with a 6.4 rating.
- Probably our most out of nowhere top scorer of all-time was Last Man In Cole Palmer. Andrew joined the usual suspects Matt, Mike, and Ryan in the Palmer VIP lounge with a 6.5 standard rating for 8 minutes and a yellow card.
- Optimally, Matt, Ryan, or Trevor could have went with City striker Erling Haaland and his 8.4 rating. The Norwegian scored twice to start the second half putting things out of reach for the home side.
