- Six matches were on the docket for the day yet only three of them received usage. The neglected were Chelsea's 7-0 battering of Norwich City and 1-1 draws between Crystal Palace and Newcastle as well as Leeds and Wolves.
- Burnley and Southampton was supposed to be a low scoring, defensive-driven affair which prompted Trevor to take the Saints' goalkeeper Alex McCarthy, the second keeper taken in the Pick One this season. Instead, Burnley scored twice and none of McCarthy's three saves were particularly difficult on the way to the day's worst score of 6.5.
- Pep Guardiola's rotation tactics are the worst for Fantasy Footballers in the Premier League, but today it didn't turn out that bad. Kevin De Bruyne (Andrew/Ryan) got a 7.0 for seemingly just being Kevin De Bruyne for the final 18 odd minutes of the match against Brighton while Greg lucked out on the Last Man In front as Riyad Mahrez scored five minutes into stoppage time for a 7.4.
- It is fair to say nobody saw Watford's 5-2 win over Everton coming let alone having a player who hadn't scored since January for a team no longer in the Premier League taking home the best score of the season so far. Matt is a very striker-heavy selector so Josh King coming off the board wasn't the wildest of routes taken but seeing him score a hat-trick against England's #1 after last scoring for Bournemouth against Crawley Town in the FA Cup was quite wild. An 8.8 also puts him on the top of the pile for the year by 0.2 points over previous holder Bruno Fernandes.
- Several players broke the 9.0 threshold on a day filled with goals but only one player got to a perfect 10.0 and that was Chelsea's Mason Mount. Us collectively sleeping on the early game let Mount's hat-trick and assist slip through our fingers.
