- We are not even out of the Round of 16 and the final of Euro 2016 is no longer in the tournament as Switzerland ousted France on penalty kicks.
- All four Frenchmen selected either scored or got a significant shot on target, but Scott's selection of Karim Benzema (2 goals) and Mike's of Paul Pogba (1 goal, 92% passing) put them a class above even in defeat with an 8.5 rating. That haul helped Mike get back to the top of the standings and build a one point advantage in the process.
- On the winning side, Matt's selection of Xherdan Shaqiri arguably had his worst game of the tournament but won't give much of a shit as his men will go on to the next round and take on Spain.
- Yes, Spain, after playing some of the most brutal-to-watch football in their first two games of Euro 2020, they have come on like gangbusters with 10 goals in their past two games now.
- The lone Spaniard taken on the day, Andrew's pick of Koke, didn't score but was part of a potent front six that didn't have a single player score a rating below 7.1 even with a horrendous own goal to their credit (looking at you Pedri!)
