- With Chelsea's match with Leicester being re-scheduled due to the Carabao Cup Final, only West Ham/Wolves was on the docket for the day.
- The pick split was 4-2 in favor of Wolves, the side that came up short on the eventual 1-0 scoreline.
- Strangely enough, for the first time in this Challenge via a combination of late entry and Last Man In shenanigans, all three Wolverhampton substitutes were selected in this match. Andrew had himself some Pedro Neto (6.7), Matt went with Daniel Podence (6.6), and Greg completed the triumvirate with Raul Jimenez (6.6).
- All three substitutes outperformed the lone Wolves starter selected, Max Kilman. The normally high-rated Wolves defense was left out to dry by the aggregators against the Hammers and Trevor saw his charge only bring in a 6.4 despite 89% passing and having two key position tackles.
- Nevertheless, those that went the West Ham way were rewarded accordingly. Scott's pick Manuel Lanzini completed 90% of his passes including all three of his long balls en route to a 7.1 in his role right behind the striker.
- Normally, having a guy be both the top and optimal scorer would get a lengthy blurb here at the end but Kurt Zouma is human garbage so fuck him and his 8.2 rating.
